General News
Miss Samoa 2016, Priscilla Olano was farewelled by colleagues at the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP) today in Samoa. Ms Olano was the Pacific Climate Change Portal Technical Assistant, having worked at SPREP for over four years.

Having won the Miss Samoa 2016 pageant on Friday night, she is now embarking on a new path ahead.

"It has been an honour to be part of the SPREP team," said Ms. Olano.

"Not only have I made great friends, I have also learnt so much about our Pacific environment and have had environment values instilled in me that I will take with me wherever I go. Thank you for your kind words, support and encouragement."

Ms Olano began with SPREP in 2012 as an IT Assistant and then as the Pacific Climate Change Portal Technical Assistant (and Pacific Islands Greenhouse Gas Abatement through Renewable Energy Programme - PIGGAREP project assistant) for the last four years.

We wish you all the best on your future endeavours Priscilla!
