28 August 2014, Apia, Samoa - There were some gorgeous views from alongside the Pacific Jewel in Apia this morning.

International experts on ocean acidification are gathered on board the cruise ship today and tomorrow to discuss state-of-the-science considerations on ocean acidification for Small Island Developing States.

Workshop participants are hoping to take a 'Declaration on Ocean Acidification' to the UN SIDS Conference which formally kicks off next week.

The workshop is jointly hosted by New Zealand and the United States in partnership with SPREP.
